LVIV DEFENSE CLUSTER is a professional volunteer association that started its activities in February 2022.
Purpose of creation
Coordination of production and free transfer
personal protective equipment to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
All manufactured bulletproof vests comply with DSTU,
are transmitted free of charge - and this is fundamental.
The cluster was formed with the participation of the staff of the relocated Kharkiv factory of personal protective equipment, Lviv businessmen and volunteers, who were joined by experts in ballistics and tactical equipment from all over the country.
In just a few weeks, we established the production of body armor on an industrial scale - more than 1,500 per day.
Thanks to the efforts of our team, donors and partners, we managed to produce and transfer more than 85,000 body armor by November 1, 2022.
In addition to army bulletproof vests, the cluster launched projects to provide protective equipment for journalists and rescuers working near the front line; development and production of evacuation kits (safety vest + helmet) for children;
protective vests for ambulance crews.
